The Bright Lights of America is the seventh studio album released by Anti-Flag on April 1, 2008. The first song released from the album was "Good 'N' Ready", featured on Fat Wreck Chords Hanuk-Comp From the Dreidel to the Grave compilation. In a recent interview Justin Sane told the interviewer the album was going to be different from the last including new styles and elements including using orchestra instruments and child choirs [1]. Much of the album was released on the band's MySpace with twelve of the thirteen tracks on March 24, 2008. This album was also the first Anti-Flag record to include a string section.

Anti-Flag

For Blood and Empire is the sixth studio album by American punk band Anti-Flag. It was released on March 21, 2006. It is also their first release on RCA Records, which caused the band to receive criticism from many due to their initially anti-corporate message.

The booklet, which comes with the CD, contains a short essay for all but two songs (State Funeral and Cities Burn) which gives more in-depth perspective on the inspirations for the song subjects such as the Downing Street Memo and Monsanto Company Corporation, as well as information on one of Anti-Flag's side projects, Military Free Zone. The CD also comes with two stencils, one is the "Gunstar", a star formed with broken M-16s (as seen on the cover of Mobilize), and the other of the phrase "What are we going to do about the U.S.A.?"

The Terror State is the fifth full length album by Pittsburgh punk rock natives Anti-Flag; released October 21, 2003 on the independent label Fat Wreck Chords. The album's artwork was regarded as somewhat controversial, and the band was forced to create an alternate version (which was simply all black with the Terror State logo centered.) for sale in some larger chain stores. They provided information about the incident on their website. Helmed by Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, The Terror State was hailed as Anti-Flag's most polished album to date. The album made #1 on KTUH's charts on the week of January 19, 2004.

A New Kind of Army is a punk rock album originally released by Anti-Flag on May 25, 1999. It was reissued by A-F Records on October 19, 2004. A New Kind of Army is easily one of Anti-Flag's most varied albums, from the childish fun of "Captain Anarchy" to the ska-like vibe of "That's Youth" to the slowed-down protest song "The Consumer's Song" to the satiric "This Is Not a Crass Song". It is also the only album to feature only Justin Sane as lead vocalist. All other albums featured at least one song sung by either Andy Flag or Chris #2.
