Word of Mouf is rapper Ludacris' second studio album, released in 2001.Def Jam decided to release the album early when pirated copies of the album's tracks were leaked onto popular peer-to-peer file sharing networks. The album sold over 281,000 copies in its first week of sales, giving it a #3 debut on the Billboard 200and went on to go 3x Platinum. The album is Ludacris' best-selling album to date with sales of over 3,616,000 copies in the United States, as of July, 2009.
